Pallet Wood Shoe Rack
I needed to build a new shoe rack to fit more shoes so I broke down a bunch of old pallets that I had collected for free. To take it apart I used a crowbar, hammer, and jigsaw.
I used my sander to get smooth out the wood. This took over 4 hours for everything and was the longest part of the project.
You can really see the difference after sanding
This shows the layout before adding glue and nails to the side panel. The center upright panel has these small supports on both sides.
I used wood glue and my 18g air nailer to attach everything together. You can also just use a hammer and nails but I found this setup used on Marketplace!
These clamps helped to hold things in place while I was nailing
I used a dark stain to match some other pieces in my home.
This fits workboots, shoes, and taller winter boots
