DIY Bicycle Repair Stand
This project was made from old recycled materials and holds a bike at a comfortable height in order to do repairs and maintenance.
The tube was welded with a Mig welder and modifications can easily be made if you don't have access to some of the other tools. I made the longest piece removable by way of fitting into a larger pipe welded to the base with a hole drilled allowing for a bolt or "pin" to lock them together.
The base is designed to prevent wobble or tipping and can be used on almost any surface (I would avoid hardwood flooring unless you add rubber feet to it).
The stand holds almost any bike by the saddle and seat post. Two small tabs have been welded to the upper parallel pipes to prevent the saddle from slipping off and they also looked pretty cool. I will make the CAD file of those available below.
Enjoy and happy riding!
