PVC RECORDER
While we aren't using metal for this project we will be using tools in the metal shop to accomplish the goal of creating a musical instrument.
WARNING: This project may be frustrating if you do not follow the steps or pay attention to details like measurement and hole size. In order to get your recorder tuned (musical notes that don't sound like sadness) there will be some tweaking required to make it sound proper.
Different holes sizes and length of pipe can result in different keys. The below video shows how to make a basic C Major recorder.

Material:
-Start with 32cm of 1/2 ID (inside diameter) PVC pipe
-Measure and layout Air Hole as shown in video
-layout lines 2.5cm, 3cm, 3.5cm and then draw center line down the length of the tube
-rectangle air hole width layout is 1/2cm wide and 1 cm long. Separate rectangle into two equal squares and drill out the square closest to the end of the pipe.
-you will need to file/cut, sand the hole to be a square
-2nd square need to be carefully cut into a slope leading down into the other square hole like a ramp
-Cut wooden plug (1/2" wood dowel) to length of 2.5 cm. This length is based on you measureing the rectangle
