Weekly Portfolio Assessment - Google Classroom
Roughly half of your project marks this term will come from your weekly portfolio assessment using the google classroom. You can use your mobile device or the class laptops to complete this weekly assignment.
You will need a way to take photos of your projects and progression as you learn, work, and finish assignments or self designed projects. If you do not have a phone I can take a photo for you and email to your school email account if you ask nicely.

Slide 1
Add your block, your name and your parent contact information. I am the only one who will be checking these but if your parent/guardian are wondering about your progress you/I can easily share a slide to prove you have done your required work each week.
All of this well help towards final graduation projects/slides as well as keep track of what you have done over the term. If you project goes missing or you change your mind halfway through you will still have documented proof of your efforts and work.

Slide 2
As you build things you can choose what level they may fall under. The level you choose will not affect your final mark but will affect the level of responsibility and time management I expect from you if you choose level 3 vs level 1. Eventually you will list a title or name of each project as you complete or progress through them.
Slides 3-4
This is where you will set some goals for yourself. They do not need to be huge goals but they should be realistic based on the approximately 80 hours we offer through this course. Do you best to put down honest answers.
Slide 5
You can extend this slide to multiple slides each week as you work on your projects. I would recommend documenting your progress from start to finish at each major step to show your project coming to life. You can then upload those photos to the slide and write a few quick notes or a paragraph.
Slide 6
If in the middle of a project please explain your hours put in and how long you predict until you are finished. Add photos as needed.
Slide 7 - Self Reflection
This page is more like a "diary". What have you learned. What mistakes maybe happened that you can avoid in the future. "I used to do this but now I do this" is a good way to show your improvement in the course!
Slide 8 and beyond
Each week you are expected to update your slides. I have already added the necessary dates to fill the term. These slides will act as proof of your learning and time spent in class.
IMPORTANT: Do not remove yourself from the google classroom until the summer time once marks and all important information has been collected. If you delete your account THERE IS NO WAY for me to recover your work. This set of slides can account for 50% of your project grades!
